Client Data Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 24, 2026
This Client Data Privacy Policy describes how Lukhoo LLC protects client recordings, transcripts, incident records, location data, account information, and related digital artifacts within the Lukhoo app and Lukhoo.com. Lukhoo was formerly operated, branded, or referenced as Safe-Watcher, and this Policy covers data created under either name when connected to the Lukhoo services.
Client Data We Handle
- Videos, audio, images, transcripts, notes, uploaded documents, and other client-created files.
- Incident details such as timestamps, location checkpoints, device metadata, upload status, and sharing history.
- Account, contact, emergency-contact, support, and communication information.
- Technical logs needed to operate, debug, secure, and audit the services.
Purpose of Processing
Lukhoo processes client data to provide recording, upload, storage, streaming, transcription, alert, retrieval, sharing, support, security, account-management, legal-compliance, and service-improvement functions. We do not use client recordings, transcripts, precise location, or incident content for sale to data brokers or for targeted advertising profiles.
Storage, Encryption, and Access Controls
- Client data may be transmitted to and stored on cloud infrastructure used by Lukhoo and its contracted providers.
- We use safeguards designed to protect client data, including encryption where appropriate, access controls, least-privilege permissions, monitoring, and vendor confidentiality obligations.
- Access to client data is limited to authorized personnel, contractors, and service providers who need access for support, security, operation, compliance, or user-authorized purposes.
- No storage or transmission system is completely secure, and Lukhoo cannot guarantee absolute security.
Location and Metadata
If location services are enabled, Lukhoo may collect precise GPS or approximate location data connected with recordings, alerts, uploads, checkpoints, maps, or incident records. Metadata may include timestamps, device type, file size, upload status, app version, IP address, and diagnostic information. Location and metadata help document incidents, operate app features, troubleshoot issues, and protect the integrity of client records.
Client Control
- Clients may access, review, download, share, or delete certain data through available app features.
- Deletion requests are subject to verification, technical limits, backups, audit logs, legal holds, fraud prevention, security needs, and compliance obligations.
- Clients are responsible for choosing recipients carefully before sharing videos, transcripts, links, or incident details.
Sharing and Disclosure
- Lukhoo shares client data only as described in our Privacy Policy, at the client's direction, with contracted service providers, for legal and safety reasons, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.
- We do not sell client data.
- We do not disclose client recordings or transcripts to attorneys, emergency contacts, law enforcement, or third parties unless directed by the client, required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or otherwise permitted by our policies and Terms.
Recordings, Consent, and Legal Responsibility
Clients are responsible for complying with recording, consent, wiretap, surveillance, evidence, privacy, employment, court, and law-enforcement-interaction laws that apply to their use of Lukhoo. Lukhoo does not determine whether a recording is lawful, admissible, complete, or sufficient for any legal purpose.
Retention and Deletion
Lukhoo retains client data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, preserve security, prevent fraud, and complete backup cycles. Retention periods may vary by data type, account status, legal requirements, and user settings.
Data Integrity and Availability
Lukhoo works to maintain reliable access to client data, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uploads, permanent storage, perfect transcripts, exact geolocation, error-free metadata, or successful delivery to every recipient. Clients should maintain their own backups of critical records when possible.
Legal Requests, Safety, and Preservation
Lukhoo may preserve or disclose client data when required by subpoena, warrant, court order, law, government request, litigation hold, safety concern, fraud investigation, security incident, or to enforce our Terms. We may challenge requests where appropriate and legally permitted.
Service Providers
Lukhoo may use cloud hosting, storage, maps, analytics, communications, transcription, payment, security, and support providers. These providers may process client data only as needed to provide contracted services to Lukhoo and are expected to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards.
Client Privacy Rights
Clients may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or other privacy rights available under applicable law by contacting Lukhoo. We may verify identity before processing a request and may deny or limit requests where legally permitted, including for security, legal, evidentiary, backup, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Policy Updates and Contact
We may update this Client Data Privacy Policy as Lukhoo evolves, including to reflect the transition from Safe-Watcher to Lukhoo. Questions or requests may be sent through Contact Lukhoo or by visiting https://lukhoo.com.
